Gather with family and friends or work colleagues, to celebrate the start of the Christmas season and to savour a truly memorable food and wine journey in the heart of Surrey wine country.

Celebrate the festive season with a Christmas Supper Club at the stunning Albury Vineyard, with award-winning organic English sparkling wine and a bespoke menu by private chef Renu Ballantine (Chef Renu B).

Nestled in the Surrey Hills, Albury Vineyard is renowned for its tours, tastings and pairings – and now, in collaboration with Chef Renu B, is offering a unique gastronomic experience that blends fine wine, seasonal produce, and the relaxed elegance of vineyard dining.

The evening begins with a glass of Albury bubbles included in the price of your ticket, followed by canapés at your table whilst you select additional tipples to purchase. Choose from a selection of Albury’s finest sparkling wines, cocktails or soft drinks or the specially curated wine pairing menu.

This 3 course food menu brings luxurious, locally sourced produce to the vineyard table. For starters salmon rillettes, cucumber jelly and an avocado mousse are served with sourdough bread. The main dish is Surrey Hills beef fillet, encrusted with pink peppercorns, served with a white bean and mushroom fricassee, slow braised beef croquette, cranberry relish and salsa verde - all served with a red wine jus. 

If you prefer a vegetarian option, why not try the pearl barley and preserved lemon stuffed portobello mushroom (a Yotam Ottolenghi inspired recipe)  white bean fricassee, salsa verde and cranberry relish.

Indulge in a home made chocolate tart for dessert, served with just a hint of Christmas in the form of a Christmas cake clotted cream and freshness from raspberries.

Chef Renu B, once an engineer and now a rising star in the private dining scene, is one of Albury’s resident chefs and the curator of memorable vineyard dining experiences. Her food has been praised for its presentation, creativity, flavour pairings and warmth – all of which you can experience at  this intimate Christmas Supper Club.

About Albury Vineyard 

Albury Vineyard is the perfect location for your special event.Set in the beautiful southern slopes of to the North Downs of Surrey Hills, Award winning Albury vineyard was planted in 2009 by Nick Wenman.

 

Nick has always believed that the key to the success of the wines is the vineyard's commitment to organic and biodynamic principles, together with excellent winemakers and his talented Estate Manager Alex, one of the few female vineyard managers in England.  It is a family run business as Nick's daughter Lucy also runs Albury Vineyard, along with Vineyard Managers Alex and Dominic, along with the Vineyard dogs! 

 

The vines are the traditional Champagne varietals of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as some Seyval and Pinot Gris. Albury Vineyard are committed to producing organic fruit without the use of chemicals such as herbicides and fungicides, and produce English wine of the highest quality; a still rosé and quality sparkling wines

​During weekday evenings and weekends you can hire the cosy tasting room for a private wine tasting and double up the fun with the expertise of the wonderful Chef Renu B who can offer 3 course meals, delicious buffets or canapés and fine dining finger foods to be passed around ! The tasting room is available for private daytime events (groups of 12+ people) and evening events (groups of 20+ people).

 

In the summer the outside patio and vineyard  provide a picturesque setting for private tours, tastings and al fresco dining combining the best of the English countryside, English wines and fine food.
